WEAVERVILLE, NC – I wanted to share with my readers a piano solo that was shared with me on Facebook. This piano solo is by the master pianist, Andre Gagnon.

Born in 1942 in Quebec, Canada, Andre Gagnon is a Canadian composer and musician. He was awarded the title of Officer of the Order of Canada in 1978.

Andre Gagnon has received two separate Juno awards in 1978 and again in 1995 for his piano instrumentalist talents.

He shifted from his classical roots in the 1970s moving to a more contemporary music style with albums like Nieges.

Please enjoy!

Wonderful technique! very peaceful and enjoyable. Thanks for sharing. As a pianist myself, when playing for just myself, I personally enjoy the classical genre, however, as long as I have the opportunity to play, I’m a happy & fulfilled person.
